What is the CSCF? +
The Customer Security Controls Framework (CSCF) is the core document of the SWIFT CSP. It defines 23 mandatory and 9 advisory controls organised around three objectives: Secure your environment, Know and limit access, and Detect and respond. All SWIFT users must attest compliance annually.
What are the SWIFT architecture types? +

How is SWIFT CSP compliance assessed? +
SWIFT users must complete an annual self-attestation via the KYC Security Attestation (KYC-SA) application on SWIFTs portal. Independent assessments by a SWIFT-approved assessor are mandatory for larger users and strongly recommended for all. Non-compliant users may be reported to their regulators and supervisors.
What certifications are relevant to SWIFT CSP? +
The SWIFT Certified Security Professional (also known as SWIFT CSP) exam validates knowledge of the CSCF controls, architecture types, Alliance software suite (Alliance Access, Alliance Gateway, Alliance Lite2, Alliance Web Platform), SWIFTNet services, and security operations within the SWIFT environment.
